The ancient Gaelic translation of Anamcara is “Soul Friend.” The Celts believed that everyone needed a soul friend in their life to aid and assist them as they journey through their lives. An Anamcara is there to provide guidance and thoughtful counsel. To hold up the mirror to your soul so that you can hear and see that your own inner wisdom and voice is truly always there to guide you.

Mission

To provide a compassionate and soulful presence to clients as they work through the transitions in their lives. To provide support and practical tools for managing stress, anxiety, grief & loss, along with life goal planning. To connect clients with the importance of a lifestyle that includes reflection, time in nature and a general understanding of how to live a life that is full and from the soul.

The best way I’ve learned to describe what an Anamcara is goes something like this: It’s like a life-coach, guide and a dear friend all combining forces and then holds your hand through the challenges of life
